Canadian-born Elya Craig and Luxembourger Sven Sauber first crossed paths at an open-mic night, and were instantly drawn to each other’s music. Eleven days later they had penned their first song together, and the creative spark has been burning ever since — a testament to a musical kinship rooted in genuine friendship. Guided by the velvet blend of their voices, their compositions allow lyrics and melodies to ebb and flow with effortless grace, exploring themes that feel at once intimate and universal. In a folk vein reminiscent of CSN and James Taylor, the duo will share tracks from their debut album better weather day, along with brandnew material slated for a forthcoming second release.
